How do I claim my rebate from Police Health?

Once you have chosen a Police Health approved therapist, you can easily book a therapy session at your desired time with them. You will need to pay for the appointment up-front. Is a psychologist also covered by Police Health?

Do I need a referral from a GP to claim my rebate with Police Health?

No, you do not need a referral from a GP, you can simply book a session with one of Talked's Police Health approved therapists and then claim your rebate. Police Health does not require you to obtain a referral before seeing a Police Health approved therapist, however, you must make sure the therapist is registered with Police Health.

Can I claim a rebate from Police Health and Medicare?

No, if you claim a rebate from Police Health you can not also claim from Medicare. To make a claim from Medicare you must have a mental health care plan and a referral from the GP.
