Is Talked an EAP?

EAP is just part of what we do, but Talked is so much more than a traditional EAP. Our modern employee wellbeing platform combines high-quality psychology with integrated medical support, and practical wellbeing tools—all in one easy-to-use app.

Who are the therapists and how does employee counselling work?

Our therapists are qualified and experienced mental health clinicians, made up of general psychologists, clinical psychologists and counsellors - all registered with AHPRA or their respective professional bodies.

What makes Talked different from traditional EAPs is that employees can choose their own therapist based on their preferences and needs. They’re not just randomly assigned someone. Once they find a good fit, they can continue seeing the same therapist across sessions to build a strong therapeutic relationship.

How are you different from other EAPs?

Traditional EAPs often rely on a single phone number, long wait times, out-dated technology and limited choice for employees, which has resulted in low engagement and poor outcomes.

Talked is a modern wellbeing platform built around choice, access, and quality care. Through our web and mobile platform, employees can book same-day sessions with fully registered psychologists, choose their own therapist and stick with them, and even transition to Medicare when eligible.

Is it confidential for my employees?

Absolutely. We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously and protect your teams privacy and data using industry leading security practices and end-to-end encryption.

We never show or report who is using the service and we will never share any personal information with you. All data used to generate insights and reports is from anonymised and aggregated data.

Are you ISO-27001 certified?

Yes, we are ISO-27001 certified. We take security and privacy very seriously and have implemented a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS) to protect your data. We are also compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and ensure that your data is handled in accordance with the highest standards of privacy and security.

How will our managers and leadership team be supported?

We equip your leaders with the right tools and support to confidently manage mental health in the workplace. Including offering direct manager advice line with psychologists and mental health nurses, 1:1 consultations for guidance on employee situations and practical resources.

How does onboarding and awarness campaigns work?

We provide everything you need to make every employee aware of your new service. This includes customised email campaigns, posters, digital assets and more.

We also work closely with your HR and internal communications teams to plan and execute a customised onboarding and awareness campaign to ensure your employees are aware of the Talked platform and how to access it.

We can also provide webinars and in-person workshops for your organisation to help drive awareness and answer any questions they may have.
